Valerie Atkisson is an accomplished artist and educator who has made significant contributions to contemporary art and the LDS art space. With a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York, she is currently an adjunct faculty member at Utah Valley University. Valerie also has a rich history of teaching and lecturing at various universities. Her work is included in several permanent collections, and has been featured in diverse exhibitions across notable institutions such as the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art and the Springville Museum of Art.
