The official website of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a vast site that is a portal to study libraries, gospel topics, sharing the gospel, news and media, resources for members serving in the Church, a tool interface for individuals and congregations, maps for meetinghouses and worship schedules, directory of languages and countries, landing spot for Church websites and apps, employment opportunities, as well as information about the Church and website support.

So much content. For individuals and families, churchofjesuschrist.org is also a rich resource for music. Here is a guide to music resources on the site.

Music Library - All of the current hymn and song collections of the Church are found here (including playback tools, downloads, searchability, and training ideas. Still more, it includes music appropriate for church performance, General Conference music, and choir books for children, adults, men, and women. That’s only the beginning. Music published in the Church magazines can be found as well, for Seminary, from Church pageants, and music and texts submitted to the Church going back a few decades. For those wanting to learn to play the piano or conduct music, there is also a complete keyboard course and conducting course.

Music Callings - Music callings can be intimidating. This series of content includes training, policies, FAQs, and information on how to donate to a philanthropy to help people worldwide learn basic music skills.

Church Music Submission Guidelines - Did you know that an annual Church Submission seeks gospel-related works in these categories: hymns, hymn texts, children’s songs, arrangements for choruses, anthems, original songs, contemporary music, and instrumental music? Cash awards are given in each category, and some submissions appear on the Church’s website and in Church publications.

General Conference Music - Each musical performance during General Conference going back to April 2008 can be found in this section, divided by semi-annual conference and subdivided by session. Information about the works appear here, as well, including where to locate sheet music for the arrangements.

Radio Channels - Did you know that you can stream music and more 24/7 from the Church’s website? There are four radio channels: Tabernacle Choir Stream, Music Stream (uplifting and inspirational Christian music), Talk Stream (messages, talks, and podcasts), Canal de transmisión (the official radio station of the Church in Spanish)

Groups, Performances, and Broadcasts - Three entities have their own, robust sites within the Church website: The Tabernacle Choir, Music & the Spoken Word, and Temple Square Performances. Particularly deep is the Choir’s site which has a tremendous number of video performances of concerts, weekly broadcasts, recordings, tours, and more, all cataloged here and searchable in several compelling ways.

Worthy Music, Worthy Thoughts - A 1974 sermon by President Boyd K. Packer talks about music. The pages of this area of the website also include messages for youth regarding music.

Savior of the World - The Church-produced musical is featured on the site including scripts, music, costuming, props, set design, and casting suggestions for directors.

Strive to Be - A youth channel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints includes music videos, Strive to Be Concert, Youth Music Festival, and Youth Album.
